I know the problem with people being addicted to pornography, or any other kind of phsycological addiction. And let me tell you something my dear friends. It is not the product of some magical evil phantom called satan putting thoughts in your head. its not even evil spirit or demons controlling you. Whether you would like to admit so or not, these are utterly quaint beliefs. Just as the bible has been slowly replaced with real science, the truth of its words is also surfacing through all the bullshit of magical supernatural things like heaven, hell, spirits, virgin births...etc
Here is the real issue. Which, I'm sure any reasonable person would agree with. the issue is that there is an insatiable 'hole' that needs to be filled. Jesus will fill it? I think not. Jesus was real? I think yet. Jesus was a god? I think not. There is a god? Nope. At least, there isn't a deity in three forms.
Here is reality.
Just as the new testament talks about walking in spirit, letting the spirit lead you...etc this, in real life, is not some fantastical 'spirit' in any sense at all. Its actually just being closer to reality as it is. Being present. There is another world for it that comes from eastern philosophy. Its called Satori. You can walk in satori if you like. But REAL compassion for human kind won't be prevalent. And thats the other half of this thang, yo. The peace of satori and the clarity of truth is that is needed.
Enough of this fantastical bullshit. Sins and righteouness. its all SIN in actuality. it misses the mark if your not in the know.
Here is how to get in the know. Realize there is no 'you'. No self. no ego.
But further more, if your a superstitious type, drop the bullshit assumptions of FAITH, which is believing something because of FEAR that it MIGHT be true, WITHOUT EVIDENCE....
and use your brain for a seconds to be reasonable.
GOD is not some deity, some supernatural, all powerful dude sitting on a throne. We aren't made in 'his' image. Your special sure.. but stop trying to focus on how special you are. Your really part of something that you represent, which one you see, you'll have a MUCH deeper respect for your'self' than you could have ever had thinking that your some predestined creature of this fantastical God someplace beyond the walls of the universe.
ONCE you've realized all this stuff, and you've chilled the fuck out, you'll be able to sit down, shut up, and look for a 'you'.
You'll be able to look beyond the values, the righteouness, the sins, the personality, the looks, the memories, the opinions, ideas, stories, friends, family, roles, situations, talents, skills, knowledge, habits, social status, thoughts...etc
you'll see all these things. But you will not... you will NOT find anything more. There is nothing behind any of it.
If you've actually been able to follow these words, your brain might have gone through a total melt down.
It would be like not only going from a fair tale land created in the mind, you'd have fallen back to the planet. And if that crash were not enough, you'd have even felt your very core shaken as you realize there is no you behind reality.
Its a lot to grasp.
But this is why I'm so passionately upset with these fairy tales and ideas that keep people trapped from reason. At least atheists would be more prone to actually knowing the total majesty of God. They would be closer to God than a die hard Christian simply because they may be more prone to reason. Although that is an assumption I have to test from experience.
And WOW. God is indescribable. He's not anything you'd have thought he was. You can't talk to him. You are 'him'. Part of him. He is silent. He is beautiful. He isn't a 'he' at all. You want to walk with him? Really truely walk with God? Realize you are one with him, no matter where your head is at. No matter what you do.
Your suffering, all human cause suffering, is created by denying god. its created by the blindness that is thinking there is a 'you' and not diving into the flow of life.
There is no you. There is just an organism with a label that happens to be whatever 'your' name is.
Come down from your fairy tale land because of your fear that it MIGHT be true. Enough of the bullshit. Grow up, or die, as Bill Maher puts it. Its as simple as that. Then, realize there is no 'you' and become enlightened. Only then can you TRULY understand the words of Jesus and live with compassion, be free from human suffering, and finally walk with God.
