We're in the business of changing the world. Freeing them isn't enough. We need something more. A practice, a core vision and principles... and since we are free we have the wisdom to identify and choose these. These are the things that can be passed on should our efforts out live us. We will be literally rewriting and consolidating the worlds religious texts into what we see as the core principles of human peace and evolution.
With each liberation we want to see change. We want to see someone who, a few days or hours ago, were lost and hopeless and who are now enlightened with clarity and wisdom, but also with a new core set of value they choose for themselves, and a life orientation towards spreading this truth, vision, and code.

I will take the gnostic gospels and we should probably just throw the whole tao te ching in there. what other works should we include?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to look into Shinto. I've heard some good things about it but I've yet to actually read into it.
DeleteAs free people I'm not sure we really need lots and lots of works. Just some cultural ideals that lend themselves to harmony among each other and nature.
