Finding True Passion

I found two questions that you can use to ask yourself which will determine whether you've found your passion or not.

1. Would I spend the rest of my life doing this/ Can I live without it?
2. Would I die for this?

Would you spend the rest of your life serving this purpose and would you defend it with your life?

Deeply considering Time and Death are the two most powerful life orienting tools I've ever found.

You may know deep inside that there is something you want to give your life to but you just won't because it would mean giving up an easier path.

In response to that, consider the words of Steve Jobs

All external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure, these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.
